Tag in the right vowel, in the right order, to catch every word.
Only the vowels in a word can catch it, in the order they appear.
AEIOU & sometimes the Y
The letters that make everything possible... actually, that make every word possible. But they'd love to take all the credit.
Clever, curiously cute characters that hang out with all types of consonants, commas, quotes and critters — helping kids discover new words wherever they go: the zoo, the tire shop, even the doctor's office. Every stop is a chance to sound something out.
Their headquarters? Letterland — the public library in downtown Sound Town.
Silly voices. Sound effects made with nothing but a mouth and imagination. Characters shaped like the actual letters they teach. It's less “lesson” and more “come along for the ride” — and every episode ends with a word a kid just figured out themselves.
Underneath the jokes is real phonics — letter recognition, vowel sounds, blending — built into short episodes, easy to hold a kid's attention and reinforce whatever they're already learning. No lecture. No worksheet. Just a few minutes of “wait, I know that word.”

The Vowel Squad — five friends, five sounds: A, E, I, O, and U.
Fun, short-form shows filled with live action, 3D, and traditional 2D cartoon stories and adventures for kids of all ages, all about learning how to pronounce words.
Their home base is Letterland, the local library in downtown Sound Town — but they travel all over the world, learning new words and having adventures wherever they land.
New Vowel Squad episodes come out every week on Saddler Day Morning Cartoons — so be sure to check back often here, and on all Kids Entertainment Rocks social media platforms!
Because learning is fun, and there's always more to come. The Squad has friends like Buzz Worthington (a.k.a. “Buzby Wuzby”), a Spelling Bee who always has a new Buzz Word to share, along with fun (and funny) definitions that help kids and adults understand new words — while also spotlighting small businesses and mom-and-pop shops around the world.
The other Y is even more fun — it's the Y Jet! The Y Jet is shaped like the letter Y because the vowels aren't complete without A, E, I, O, U — and sometimes Y. The Jet can even talk to the Squad through speakers built into the ship, and it's always there the moment they need it. You might often hear the Vowel Squad shout, “To the Y Jet, let's go!”
Also known as the “Y in the Sky,” the Y Jet takes the Squad all over the world — and through time and space — to wherever the next adventure is waiting. Up front there's a cockpit, and through it you can see into the helm (Mission Command) — where the whole Squad gathers to steer the ship, size up the situation, sound out the tricky word, and plan what's next.
Five friends, five sounds.

In the meantime, the game is a small reading lesson in disguise: only the vowels in a word can catch it, in the order they appear, and every catch is spelled out loud.
